"Trick" is a disarming little boy-meets-boy movie that owes at
least part of its appeal to the fact that it sidesteps the usual
heavy crises of gay-themed films. Nobody in it has AIDS, and nobody
is sweating coming out. The only crises in it are of the temporal
and romantic kind, namely, can a couple of nice guys get around a
plotful of obstacles to their spending the night together? It's as
