Article: Reclaiming the Neponset River

Underbrush, abandoned factories, and rusted chain-link fences discourage use of the Neponset River and its environs for canoeing, biking, and strolling. Now a new threat has arisen: arsenic along the route of a proposed hiking and biking path. Much progress has been made to open the river's banks for public enjoyment. The Metropolitan District Commission needs to keep working to make the Neponset River Greenway a reality.
