There are regional planning organizations, chambers of commerce,
state agencies, local economic development offices, institutions of
higher learning, and area tourist councils.
When it comes to promoting the economic interests of cities and
towns along the Merrimack River in Massachusetts, there is no
shortage of groups and individuals doing their part. But there has
not been one organization working on behalf of the entire valley
region.
A group of area government and business leaders is hoping to
