There are regional planning organizations, chambers of commerce,
state agencies, local economic development offices, institutions of
higher learning, and area tourist councils.
When it comes to promoting the economic interests of the cities
and towns along the Merrimack River, there is no shortage of groups
and individuals doing their part. But until now, there has not been
one organization working on behalf of the entire valley.
A group of area governmental and business leaders is hoping to
