A Saugus native who attended Saugus High School and Phillips Exeter Academy, Leger is a senior hockey captain at the University of Maine at Orono. He has shown so much caring during his prep school and college days that he has been nominated for the Hockey Humanitarian Award. It's a national award given annually to a person involved in hockey who gives a great deal of herself or himself to others.
