Seven years ago, David Connor, Plymouth electrician and
Revolutionary War enthusiast, became Paul Revere, Boston silversmith
and American patriot.
Connor's strong resemblance to Revere landed him a role as the
patriot on A&E's 1995 Biography television series on the American
Revolution, "Paul Revere, the Midnight Rider." He's been Paul Revere
ever since the filming started in 1993.
Connor has parlayed his Revere persona into a growing number of
paid engagements since then. Now, he puts on 20 shows a year for
tourists at the Paul Revere House in Boston's North End and another
50 presentations yearly of his one-hour monologue titled "Paul Revere
