It was a night of endings.
Georgetown and Johns Hopkins, playing each other in football for
the final time in a series that began in 1920, went out on an
appropriately memorable note tonight.
Don Zajick's seven-yard run late in the third quarter lifted Johns
Hopkins to a 7-3 upset victory over Georgetown before 2,226 at
Homewood Field.
With Zajick's run and some timely defense, Johns Hopkins (6-1)
ended the series with a 12-9 advantage.
Zajick's touchdown capped a 15-play, 99-yard drive that lasted 7
minutes 35 seconds and seemed to take all momentum away from
