MILFORD - Pretty soon, area residents will be able to not only wake up and smell the coffee wafting through the air, but also they'll be able to see how it's roasted.

Right now, it's a tease for TrueValue Hardware Store assistant manager Roger Hemen, who gets a whiff of his neighbor's product every day he comes to work.

That's because Red Barn Coffee Roasters has moved its operations from a 144-square-foot red barn in Hopkinton to an airy warehouse location, between TrueValue and Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts, in South Plaza on Route 140. The move to the approximately 3,000-square-foot space, which will include a storefront cafe, is Red Barn's answer to its growing business.
