David M. Egan of Brighton, a longtime Boston rock musician, died
Wednesday at Brigham & Women's Hospital following a 10-month battle
with soft tissue sarcoma. He was 38.
Born in Syracuse, N.Y., Mr. Egan attended North Syracuse High
School and later became involved in the local music scene. He
performed with the groups Porcelain Forehead and Ian's Kitchen while
working at a local record store.
He also spent time working in the music distribution business in
Long Island, N.Y., and in London.
