Article: A FIDELITY SCION GETS CLOSER TO THE TOP ABIGAIL JOHNSON TO RUN FMR CO.; POZEN DEPARTS

Abigail P. Johnson, heir to the Fidelity Investments fortune, is stepping up to take her highest-profile job yet with the financial giant, as president of the nation's largest mutual fund group.

On June 15, Johnson, 39, will succeed Robert C. Pozen, who has run the fund group, FMR Co., since 1997. Before that, he was general counsel to the parent company.

Pozen, 54, will stay aboard until year-end and then plans to teach and devote time to his new post on President Bush's Social Security reform panel.
