Last week Lynn English's Brandon Guy made state history when he
rushed for 426 yards, but last night Gloucester was determined to
deny him a repeat.
In fact, Gloucester put up a good rushing performance of its own.
Tyler Testaverde led the way with 122 yards on 17 carries as
Gloucester defeated Lynn English, 43-28, at Manning Bowl.
The win extends Gloucester's unbeaten streak to 17 games and sets
up a showdown next week at the same spot with unbeaten Lynn
Classical, which beat Salem, 35-6.
Leading, 22-20, after halftime, Gloucester went to work on its
first possession of the second half. The Fishermen (4-0) marched 60
