The gripe: "There is no walk light there: bikes and peds have to
run for their lives against turning traffic!" - George Perkins, 44-

What's wrong: The good news: There are three gas stations at this
intersection. The bad news: You might need one after your collision.
There were 99 crashes here, 37 with injuries, making it
Cambridge's second-most dangerous in the three years measured. Part
of the problem is the dearth of directives for pedestrians. Facing
the Charles River and trying to cross Memorial Drive, not only is
there no walk sign; there's not even a traffic signal to clue you in
