Mention the name Yoko Ono and a discussion inevitably ensues about
how she supposedly broke up the Beatles and was rock's "dragon lady."
These days, after years of guarding John Lennon's legacy and
remaining a pillar in the art world, Ono is confronting her
detractors head on. Her new album has a picture of her in a regal red
robe and oversized crown meant to suggest the last Chinese empress,
Tzu-Hsi, whom the British press labeled "Dragon Lady."
"I didn't know I was not the first, excuse me!" Ono says with a
