Article: Hobbs hoping to turn corner in Year 3

The question for third-year Patriots cornerback Ellis Hobbs remains unanswered. What is he?

Is he a No. 1 corner in the making? A solid, but unspectacular starter? An undersized (5 feet 9 inches) coverman best suited to nickel duty?

Depending on how you feel about Hobbs, you could make an argument for any of the above. What you can't argue is that by the end of this season, the Patriots should have a much more definitive idea of what they have in Hobbs.
