A tempting fund-raiser will be staged at seven different
restaurants on Sunday, Jan. 19, when they all participate in The
"Super" Hunger Brunch. The proceeds from this event, sponsored by
The Greater Table, an alliance of Greater Boston restaurants working
to benefit hunger relief programs, will go to Oxfam America and the
Boston Food Bank.
Frank Bell, owner of the Back Bay Bistro and president of The
Greater Table, emphasized that every dollar from this $25-per-person
champagne brunch will go to the designated charities. The
restaurants are volunteering their food and effort as their
