Article: Joseph Cappadona, 71 Owned Boston towing services

Joseph A. Cappadona, a retired towing service owner, died yesterday at his home in Quincy. He was 71.

Born in Cambridge, Mr. Cappadona lived most of his life in Boston before moving to Quincy 30 years ago.

He served with the Army in Europe during World War II before returning to found Cappy's Towing in Boston in 1946. In 1980, he started another business, Boston Auto Salvage, which he ran until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the Statewide Towing Association.
