Last week we told you that, given half a chance, we could have
played in the NBA.
Well, how can we say this and still save face? We don't want
to play in the NBA anymore.
Here's the bottom line. We forgot that Charles Barkley plays in
the NBA. And if we were there, we would have to play against him.
Not that we'd be totally averse to the idea of a game of
one-on-one with Sir Charles. In fact, we'd be more than willing to
meet him on the boards - if our basket was lowered to six feet, and
his was raised to 12. And if he wore roller skates and full scuba
diving gear. And a blindfold.
In fact, Charles, if you'd like, we'd love to sit down and play
