Few area basketball teams have found a way to stop Victor Page
this season.
The McKinley Tech senior is averaging an area-best 30.9 points
per game. Friday, he scored 33 points in a 69-61 victory over
traditional D.C. Interscholastic Athletic Association power Dunbar,
two weeks after scoring 42 in a 82-76 upset of Dunbar. His play is
keeping McKinley in contention to win its first division title since
anyone associated with the Northeast school can remember.
But not everything in Page's life has been as easy for him as
making three-pointers.
