Article: Triple exposure for `Child Abuse'

When TV viewers click their remote controls from Channel 2 to Channel 4 to Channel 7 tomorrow night, and see exactly the same thing, it's not because the broadcast waves are out of kilter. It's because all of those networks agreed to simulcast "Scared Silent: Exposing and Ending Child Abuse" at 10.

ABC didn't want to preempt its highly rated "20/20," but agreed to broadcast the program Sunday night at 10 -- except in Boston, where weekend programing will be preempted by the Jerry Lewis Telethon for Muscular Dystrophy. WCVB-TV (Ch. 5) will air "Scared Silent" Sept. 12 at 11:30 p.m.
