Article: Hillary Clinton speech on children hints at her White House priorities

WASHINGTON -- Honoring her vow to be a voice for children in the White House, Hillary Clinton said last night that the "great mission of this country" will be to help children to grow into "productive and positive human beings."

Speaking at the annual dinner of the Children's Defense Fund, Clinton urged Americans to do far more for children, saying, "We owe our children more than we have been giving them."
