Mario R. Capecchi, who won the 2007 Nobel Prize in medicine on
Monday, will be speaking at the University of Pittsburgh's 7th
annual celebration of science later this week.
Capecchi, 70, a Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator at
the University of Utah, shared the prestigious $1.54 million award
with Martin Evans, 66, of Cardiff University in England, and Oliver
Smithies, 82, of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill,
