I apologize in advance for bringing this up, but in any hockey
word association game, the words Jim Schoenfeld are automatically
followed by "Have another doughnut, you fat pig!" It's Pavlovian:
Schoenfeld, doughnuts. Now, this is not going to be a column about
infamous sports quotes, although that's my favorite verbal-attack
sound bite of all time; it's about how Schoenfeld has taken that
kind of fury, tempered it and brought it to the Washington Capitals,
who were in desperate need of a passion transfusion.
After four years of relative tranquility with Terry Murray,
