HONG KONG: US Consul-General in the Hong Kong Special
Administrative Region (HKSAR) Michael Klosson on Thursday said the
unfolding story of Hong Kong's transition over the past five years
has been positive with the successful implementation of the "One
Country, Two Systems" principle.
Klosson made the remarks in a speech entitled "One Country, Two
Systems, Five Years: US Perspectives on Hong Kong," given at a
luncheon hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce.
This was his last major speech in Hong Kong before his scheduled
reassignment next month.
