Maryland Natural Resources Police seized freezers containing 650
pounds of deer meat and charged three men with illegal deer meat
sales in separate investigations.
John M. Weed, 61, of Kensington, was charged with six counts of
illegal sales of deer meat and faces fines of $9,000, Natural
Resources Police said. Three freezers containing about 300 pounds of
deer meat were seized after an investigation that began in November.
Floyd E. Rhinecker, 65, of Damascus, was charged with three
counts of illegal deer meat sales ...
