BEIJING
Environmental forum opens
A two-day forum focusing on the development of air conditioner
manufacturing and a healthy indoor environment - a topical issue
raised by the SARS outbreak - started yesterday.
The forum, which has been organized by the China Construction
Association, the China Construction Academy and China Construction
News, brought together industry experts, air conditioner designers
and manufacturers, and constructors who agreed to join efforts to
build a healthy living environment.
Sino-Japanese trade increases
China-Japan trade surged by 36.1 per cent year-on-year to US$60.9
billion in the first six months of 2003, compared with 16.2 per cent
for 2002.
