Xinhua News Agency recently released a white paper summarizing China's human rights efforts in 2003.

In the 16,000-word report, the Information Office of the State Council makes a detailed presentation on civil and political rights, judicial guarantees of human rights, economic, social and cultural rights, the rights and interests of women and children, equal rights of the ethnic minorities, and the rights and interests of the disabled.
