Article: Centre improves air traffic control

To help air traffic control specialists learn more about flight operation, Harbin Air Traffic Control Centre has launched simulated training courses for staff.

Supported by China Southern Airline, the centre has sent six specialists to visit simulated planes at Alteon Training in Kunming, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan Province.

Alteon Training is wholly owned by Boeing, and offers pilot- training products and services for carriers around the world.

The first of its kind in China, the simulated plane observations by air traffic control specialists have achieved good results.
