Greater attention should be paid to rural areas in the
distribution of government finances, says an article in Yanzhao
Metropolis News. An excerpt follows:
Following the principle of alleviating farmers' burdens underlined
by the central government's "No 1 documents" in the previous two
years, this year's "No 1 document" has made some breakthroughs. The
central government will take a more active financial policy and pump
more money into rural areas to improve their overall productivity.
