Hawthorns, the Black Country team will escape the Football League for
the glamour of the FA Barclaycard Premiership.
Anyone interested in the Baggies' fate should tune into ITV Sports
from 1pm, but hurry, this weekend could be the last chance to see
live football on the troubled pay-television channel.
If you thought promotion from Division One was a cliffhanger, the
drama is nothing compared to the match being played out between the
Football League's money men and the management of ITV Digital, the TV
company owned by Carlton Communications and Granada that operates ITV
Sport.
