That Washington Capitals Coach Jim Schoenfeld would be right there on the ice with the rest of his team after their playoff ouster Monday was fitting. The New York Rangers and Capitals were partaking in one of hockey's quaintest rituals - the series-closing handshake among men who've just bloodied, stick-butted and belted each other around for a week or two - and Schoenfeld was right there in the line with the rest of the crooked-nose guys and stitched-up grinders, trading compliments and pats on the back for a job well done.
