The secret of how to make the perfect cup of tea was unveiled by
the Royal Society of Chemistry last week and now this column has even
more exciting news. Following his evidence to the Foreign Affairs
Select Committee about the dodgy dossier, Jack Straw has agreed to
reveal his formula for the perfect mug of Horlicks - or, in his
words, the "complete" Horlicks. Take it away, Jack"The choice of the
mug is, er, important. Above all, the mug must represent our own
vital interests. I confess I am fond of my National Union of Students
1970 Scarborough Conference commemorative mug and also of one that is
