Let's see, less than halfway through these NBA playoffs we've
seen one No. 1 seed, Seattle, eliminated and the other, Atlanta,
pushed to the edge of the cliff. We've seen Dennis Rodman, suspended
for buffoonery, watching Game 3 with Madonna at a sports bar. Just
to prove this was no one-nighter, Rodman eschewed the team bus in
favor of The Material Girl's limo for his transportation to Game 4.
We've seen Derek Harper, the man on whom Patrick Ewing is totally
dependent, take himself and perhaps his team out of a series by
getting into a fight that caused a two-game suspension. And worst of
all we've seen Scottie Pippen, Chicago's best player, an all-star
game MVP and Dream Teamer, go on ...
