The body of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis will arrive at National
Airport this afternoon and be driven up George Washington Memorial
Parkway to Arlington National Cemetery, where the former First Lady
will be buried next to President Kennedy in the shadow of an eternal
flame, officials said.
Although the cemetery will be closed to tourists all day and
the burial service restricted to relatives, President Clinton and
First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton and a few close friends, the
public will be allowed to gather outside the gates on Memorial Drive
and along the parkway to watch the motorcade.
A private funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. at St. Ignatius
of Loyola Roman Catholic Church in ...
