PRETTY EASY for Gloucester in the end and not a moment too soon for their season either. Last week, by all accounts, they were shocking against Stade Francais in the Heineken Cup. "One of the most disappointing results of my coaching career," confessed Nigel Melville, their director of rugby, afterwards. Two weeks earlier they were thumped at home in the premiership by Leicester. So in that context this win against former local rivals Bristol in the Powergen Cup was welcome.
