Gaming addicts across the world will be glued to their TV sets as Microsoft unveils the successor to its Xbox console live on MTV.

The US company has gone to extraordinary lengths to keep details of the games machine top secret. Not even the launch date has been published. And no one has much of an idea about what the machine will actually look like.
