A North-east rotary club has been awarded for the amount of work
it does to support international charities.
Members of the Aboyne and Upper Deeside Rotary Club received the
Connestoga Wagon award for the second time in recent years.
The award is given to the most internationally active club in the
north of Scotland.
Eric Sinclair, spokesman for the rotary club, which was
established 25 years ago, said: "Most of our money is spent at a
local level, but we provide support for international projects as
well as for local charities and organisations."
The club has donated funds to Dumfries and Galloway Action, a
