Article: Outrage as fishermen slaughter killer whales

SPANISH FISHERMEN have outraged conservationists by killing up to one in six of

the killer whales that live in and around the Strait of Gibraltar.

The Sunday Telegraph has obtained pictures that show a killer whale on the deck of a fishing boat after it met its death in the channel separating Europe and Africa. The picture is the first visual evidence of the darker side of the tuna fishing industry in the Mediterranean.
