THEIR FORENSIC questioning has had many a guest in verbal knots. Now Jeremy Paxman and Jon Snow, two of Britain's most respected broadcasters, have turned their fire on the tie.

A must for the image conscious professional for more than 150 years, Paxman and Snow agree that it is now time to consign the tie to the rack - a view roundly condemned by fashion experts.
