Fall seemed to really be here this weekend. I watched my son win
a football game in Vermont on Sunday. The trees were ablaze in reds
and yellows as I drove north, and I bundled up in a winter coat to
watch the game.
And just when it seemed time to get home and put in the storm
windows, the days have turned warm again. I am not complaining!
I found myself with lots of fresh, end-of-the-season tomatoes,
and made this uncooked tomato sauce for pasta. It allowed me to hold
on to summer just a little bit longer.
