The colors red, white and blue highlight holiday viewing, along
with a notable film and a few film fests for the Fourth of July. At
the end of the week, ABC schedules "In a New Light '94," a
star-filled special focusing on the fight against AIDS.
In between are many reruns, one being the "Murphy Brown" episode
in which Murph picks a writer to pound out her biography. The
episode is crowded with special guest stars.
GLORY Sunday at 9 on CBS
One of the finest movies of 1989 comes to network television.
"Glory" won Oscars for cinematography and sound. The film's musical
theme has become something of a national hymn. The movie put Denzel
