SEX STUDIES
Hey, what's not to like about sex research? Scientists who
study physical love get to talk to interesting people, often about
the most interesting things. Even the homework can be fun. Or so
it seems.
In fact, sex research has traditionally been anything but a
sexy career choice for academics, many of whom still view
sexologists as little more than voyeurs with graduate degrees,
reports Vern Bullough, a social scientist and recipient of the
Distinguished Achievement Award from the Society for the Scientific
Study of Sex.
