There are certain rules when it comes to scheduling tennis
matches at the U.S. Open. First, doubles matches don't draw a lot of
fans unless a title is at stake or top players are competing.
Second, players with rankings lower than 50 don't play on the
Stadium or Grandstand courts unless they are opponents of
highly-ranked players. And third, if you are a doubles player and
you have a ranking worse than 50, your destiny is to play early
matches on the outside courts in front of about a dozen people.
These are the rules. Luke and Murphy Jensen have become the
exceptions.
