Article: Frazier Out Indefinitely With Blood Clot

Tommie Frazier, the quarterback for second-ranked Nebraska and a strong contender for the Heisman Trophy, may be lost for the rest of the season because of a blood clot in his right calf.

Nebraska Coach Tom Osborne said today that Frazier had been admitted Sunday to Bryan Hospital.

"It could be a few weeks, it could be the season. At this point, nobody knows," Osborne said.
