That's what Manheim Township Commissioner Donald C. Smith expects to provide the township residents during his tenure as president of the board of commissioners.

Smith, who was re-elected to a second four-year term by voters in November, was elected by his fellow commissioners to the president's seat during the board's annual reorganization meeting Monday.

Commissioner Dennis Reinaker was elected vice president.

Smith, 64, is a retired U.S. Air Force brigadier general and the former president of two airlines.
