St. Andrew Church of the United Church of Christ at Lime and New
streets will observe Palm/Passion Sunday with a service of preaching
and Communion at 10:45 a.m.
Before the processional hymn, "All Glory, Laud, and Honor," the
Rev. Robert Hunsicker will read the account of Christ's entry into
Jerusalem from the Gospel of St. Matthew.
Later in the service, Hunsicker and lector Lois Geist will share
in reading Matthew's account of Christ's suffering and death. After
the Communion service, palm branches will be distributed by Sunday
school children.
The St. Andrew Choir, under the direction of Roger Kurtz, will
sing "Upon the Cross Extended" by Leonhard Lechner.
