Amother writes about the training her daughter received from a Northern Virginia driving school. She asks for anonymity to spare her daughter embarrassment.

It seems the daughter's instructor wrote the mother that the daughter had failed the training. More lessons would be needed, the instructor said. The evaluation was mailed shortly before the end of the scheduled training.

The daughter, the instructor wrote, "is unsure about all of her driving actions. Meaning when to go, when to stop, change lanes. She's a heavy braker. Almost like she waits until the last minute, then hits the brakes TOO hard. So we jolt to a complete stop. Her turns are either TOO fast, or we stop to make a turn. ...
