Kevin Kaplan recently canceled one of his major credit cards.
Now he has three cards instead of four.
The Franklin & Marshall junior says he never uses his cards to
splurge on big-ticket items, like a TV, stereo or CD player. And he
never uses them to treat himself to shopping sprees at the mall.
Kaplan even pays the balance in full each month on all three of
his credit cards.
He says he's not in debt.
Jonathan Cooperman isn't in debt either.
The F&M senior uses his one credit card for "essential items,"
such as groceries, gas and clothing.
He, too, pays off his credit card in full each month.
While statistics suggest otherwise, some local students insist
they have their plastic pals and ...
