As the song goes, when you're hot, you're hot. And if
Elizabethtown isn't hot right now, well, the Bears are pretty warm.
The Lancaster-Lebanon League champions extended their season-high
winning streak to five games with a 6-3 victory over West Perry
Monday night at Ephrata's War Memorial Field in the opening round of
the District 3 Triple-A baseball playoffs.
Earlier, on the same field, the team E-town upset in the Lancaster-
Lebanon League finals -- Lampeter-Strasburg -- saw its season come to
an end when it fell 6-5 to Greencastle-Antrim.
