A little bit of Lancaster County's wholesome dairy image has made
its way into the ice cream sundae of America's most popular TV
mobster, Tony Soprano.
On Sept. 15, on the first episode of the fourth season of HBO's
"The Sopranos," the mercurial Soprano is shown digging into a carton
of Turkey Hill Ice Cream while making a rather generous sundae.
Turkey Hill officials did not return phone calls to comment, but
the scene could be considered a coup for the 70-year-old Manor
Township company as many manufacturers compete fiercely to have their
product portrayed on such big hit shows.
