When you think about a perfect game, you think baseball.
But the football game Manheim Central quarterback Jarryd Moyer
played Friday night was as close to perfect as you'll ever see.
In just his third career varsity start, the 6-4, 195-pound junior
played his best game, completing 9-of-9 passes for 117 yards and
three touchdowns and rushing 10 times for 101 yards and another score
as the Barons blasted Lebanon 41-7 to improve to 1-0 in Section 2 of
the Lancaster-Lebanon League and 2-2 overall.
Moyer's perfect night has earned him New Era Player of the Week
honors.
